Kindergarten Prep

We are happy to announce the expansion of our Junior Kindergarten program with the opening of JK 4 at Memorial Hall on our Main Campus at 912 Vancouver Street this September. This addition enhances our commitment to providing a seamless, enriching early learning experience for our youngest students, all within the heart of our school community.

Benefits of our programs include:

  • Enhanced Learning Environment: Being on the Main Campus allows our JK 4 students to access improved facilities, including specialized classrooms, a well-equipped library, and dedicated art and music rooms.

  • Seamless Transition: Proximity to the primary grades fosters a smoother transition for our young learners as they progress through their educational journey.

  • Community Integration: Sharing the campus with older students promotes a sense of community and belonging, encouraging positive role modeling.

  • Expanded Outdoor Play Areas: With direct access to the main playground, soccer pitch, and outdoor learning spaces, JK 4 students will have more opportunities for exploration and play.

With Gratitude
Christ Church Cathedral School acknowledges that for thousands of years the Coast Salish, Nuu-chah-nulth, and Kwakwaka’wakw peoples have walked gently on the unceded territories where we now live, work, worship, learn, and play. We seek a new relationship with the First Peoples here, one based in honour and respect, and we thank them for their hospitality.
