Programs
Christ Church Cathedral School offers a wide range of academic and extra-curricular programs throughout the year. Our curriculum follows the complete range of subjects, programs, and assessment and evaluation procedures outlined by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. It also goes beyond the requirements of the Ministry curriculum in many ways, including the provision of specialist teachers in music and French from Kindergarten to Grade 8, with a strong emphasis on visual arts, drama and public speaking.
Choristers
The Chorister program, a partnership between Cathedral School and Christ Church Cathedral, is inspired by UK programs that have enriched young lives for centuries. Choristers gain experience in singing, music theory, and leadership, along with a tuition discount, subsidized piano lessons, and pocket money for attending morning rehearsals. They rehearse four mornings a week and sing Evensong on Wednesdays after school, with no weekend commitments.
