Academics

Academic enrichment is one of our school's pillars. By starting students on paths of enrichment in formative years, our programs prepare students for success. We cultivate genuine academic interest by engaging with our students individually and intersecting language arts, maths, and sciences with personal interests.

Music

Our music immersive program extends the introduction to choir signing in Kindergarten as students move into intermediate years. In grades 4 and 5, students will begin learning strings instruments and in grades 6-8, students will have the opportunity to join concert band. There are enrichment options available for Jazz and Strings ensembles as well.

For students entering Grade 3, auditions are opening for our Young Choristers program. This program is one of its kind in Canada and offers students the unique opportunity to study Cathedral choral music.

Athletics

Our dynamic athletic program is designed to ignite a lifelong passion for physical health and well-being among our students. Students engage in a supportive environment that nurtures skill development, teamwork, and of course fun! From the early years, students are introduced to a wide range of athletic activities, allowing them opportunities to hone their abilities and partake in friendly, spirited competition.

Co-Curricular Activities

Curriculum enrichment goes beyond the classroom! At CCCS, we encourage all students to participate in various Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs). CCAs are an excellent opportunity for students to try new activities, make friends, and challenge themselves. Some of last year's activities included Robotics, Student Council, Newspaper Club, Board Games, and Bell-Ringing.

With Gratitude
Christ Church Cathedral School acknowledges that for thousands of years the Coast Salish, Nuu-chah-nulth, and Kwakwaka’wakw peoples have walked gently on the unceded territories where we now live, work, worship, learn, and play. We seek a new relationship with the First Peoples here, one based in honour and respect, and we thank them for their hospitality.
