Mr. Charles Peacock - Retirement & Move - After 9 years at Cathedral School, Charles and his wife Linda have moved to Quebec. He thanks you all for your support and sends his farewell and best wishes. The Office has his contact details, and he hopes many of you will stay in touch and come and visit in Quebec.

Farewell and thank you from Charles: at the closing service at the end of June 2010, my successor, Stuart Hall, was introduced and said a few words. He will also be with us back in the School, following the service. I have spent some very fruitful days with him over the last few months, handing over the ‘reins’, and bringing him up to speed. I am very impressed by his credentials, his personality and his very clear enthusiasm for the job and I am confident that Cathedral School will be in very good hands as he takes it into its third decade. After the service and reception back at the School, I will be leaving as my wife and I are preparing to leave Victoria two days later for our new home in Quebec. It’s a bit of a sudden departure, but by July 1st we will have no home left in Metchosin! I hope to see as many of you as possible on the last day to say good-bye, but to those of you who are unable to make it on Tuesday, I say farewell and I thank you so very much for all your support, friendship and kindness which have made my time at Cathedral School the best nine years of my 39 year long career in education. The School will have my contact details and I do hope you will keep in touch and maybe come and visit us in Quebec! Au revoir!
