At CCCS we have an active 'Environmental Group'.
The children meet regularly to plan initiatives from recycling to gardening. Visits from the 'Life Cycles' organization teach the children about the value of buying local food, growing your own and making compost. Bottles, juice containers, papers and plastics are all recycled at the school, and we are currently looking at energy saving measures to conserve water, electricity and heating fuel in our school building.
