After 9 years at Cathedral School on July 1 2010, Charles Peacock has retired and moved to Quebec. On August 2 2010 we welcome our new Head of School, Mr. Stuart Douglas Hall.

As the Head of Christ Church Cathedral School, the Purpose of the School is carried out with the help of all other members of the School community. The day-to-day operations of the School, the financial administration, the hiring of staff and the setting of the curriculum are all part of the duties.

Bev Laing - Administrative Assistant

Bev started working at Cathedral School on July 2, 1993. Up until September 2001 she worked part-time - 4 or 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. However, with the increase in the number of students, Bev is now in the office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As Administrative Assistant Bev keeps the School running smoothly so the teachers can concentrate on teaching the children. She does all the vital jobs from keeping the books to putting band aid on knees.

"I feel very fortunate to be able to honestly say, 'I love my job'! I enjoy the interaction I have with the students and their families; I enjoy the variety of tasks waiting to be tackled each day and I very much enjoy the wonderful staff I am blessed to work with. There is something very special about Christ Church Cathedral School - it is not something that you can easily put your finger on - perhaps it is just the whole package."

Todd has worked at Cathedral School since 1994. He runs the Out-of-School Care Program, which keeps him busy all the year round. He loves sports and keeping active and enjoys teaching children about how sports and fitness are important in all our lives. Working with children keeps him young at heart as he has been doing it for 15 years.

"My biggest joy is watching the students at Cathedral School grow up and accomplish new things. If you can't find me at School, I'm usually playing some kind of sports or limping around."
