Christ Church Cathedral School receives an Olympic Torch!
On Friday Nov 6 Mr Fred Blue, husband of Mrs Tobi Blue, our grade 1 teacher and Assistant Head, presented his Olympic torch to the School.
He had run with it in Sooke on the second day of the torch relay. He handed the flame on to Chief Gordon of the Sooke Nation.
When we receive the stand our torch will go on display in the School up to the end of the Winter Olympics in February. Our own team name is the Cathedral School Flames and our team logo incorporates a torch,
so it is a very fitting that we should have our own Olympic Torch. Many thanks to Fred Blue
